Day 4
Today we learned about Maryam Mirzakhani, a woman who participated twice in the international Math Olympiad. She was the first woman ever to win the Fields Medal. She is currently married with a daughter named Anahita. Today we learned about number tricks and we also learned about coding. My favorite thing I learned today was about patterns and fractals.
I'm so sad that math camp is almost over! I've made so many friends and I don't want to leave yet! One thing I know is that I definitely want to come back next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 3

Today we did a lot of things, and something I did was almost fall asleep in class from waking up early. We learned about Maria Agnesi, who had to teach all of her 21 younger siblings. We also learned about permutations and combinations. One thing I was glad to learn was factorials, which were in a math competition that I competed in and hardly anyone knew what they were (I had NO CLUE). Today we also learned about the mathematician Fibonacci, and the Fibonacci Sequence. We also learned about the golden ratio. We got to play an awesome game called Mastermind. We also got to play on Sporcle

Day 1

Today we learned about the Greek mathematician Hypatia, who was basically murdered later in her life for not being like the other women. Today we also learned about venn diagrams and sets. we got to play an awesome game called Set, which is one of my favorites. we learned about polynomials and polynomiography (and a bunch of other long words too). I have made a lot of new friends so far, and so far, math camp rocks!

Day 2
Today we learned about the first "programmer," Ada Byron Lovelace. We also got to learn about the platonic solids, and we got to build them. My favorite was the icosahedron. We learned about Paschal's Triangle and other cool number tricks. We got to do the second part of our Math Olympiad, one of my favorite parts of the day.

More polynomiography!!!
